Review by thammylagares

If You Wish Upon Me

9/10

Despite All was a Healing Journey!! I Love It.

I Highly recommend this amazing Drama.

Don't mind bad reviews this show is totally worth the watch.

Depicts one of the saddest moment of life, but also address major and profound impact terminal illness have among relatives of those people and the long term effects of this traumatic event and its ending. Nonetheless, the show create an important healing journey, of such events on its characters which talks profoundly to viwers thanks to amazing performances, production and cinematography.

The subplot of the biological father is one of the turn off for me, because the content of the drama it's already heavy and too emotional and his monstrous behavior it's too much to bear. This is my reason for a 9/10 rate.

As someone with experience with terminal ill patients I think this heavy subject must be treated with care and attention because may be easily become something the viewers end up giving up watching before the closure because of the emotional impact in the memories of such traumas.
