They direct the show to a bunch of layman's! If you're going that far in the mountains, you better know what you're doing. I grew up in the mountains of Washington state, if idiots go into the woods without knowing what to do, so be it! It's called natural selection! Quit trying to dumb it down so much that everyone can understand! Barely anyone will even try such a feat! Please, direct your episodes towards educated, outdoors people! I'm tired of television dumbing down their shows to appeal to the masses! Your show appeals to many in that have no concept of what it takes to live in the mountains. Please quit directing the show toward people who no desire go outside and have no idea what a real mountaineer is like.
