Tej Bommadevara and Rishika Lokre in Madhave Madhusudana (2023)

Review by chaitanprakash776

Madhave Madhusudana

9/10

Delightful and impressive movie despite its unfortunate shortcomings.

The story is amazing and heart touching despite the subpar direction. Overall it's a nice movie carried only by the actress (Rishika Lokre) and a few costars. She has an amazing screen presence and all the scenes with her are a treat to watch. The actor (Tej Bommeradeva) on the other hand needs a lot of work in terms of acting. Subpar performance. You can clearly see his inability to match the chemistry of the actress. It's obvious Rishika had to tone down her screen presence and intensity to match the subpar performance of Tej. She seems to be the only good thing about the movie other than the story. The music is definitely good too. The cinematography could've been a lot better. Some of the scenes look too immature for a movie. The director needs a lot of improvement in his work. Apparently the director is the father of the actor Tej. It seems the father-son duo needs to work on their individual skills a lot more before they make another movie. Overall it's definitely a movie one must watch just for the sake of actors like Rishika Lokre. She has done a great job of carrying the movie and there's no doubt about the fact that it's HER movie. Definitely worth the watch. Go give it a shot.
