Very nice story
This is a cinematic depiction of the history behind a famous song for Ramadan, a legendary Malaysian singer and helping his mates in a famous music hall in Singapore on 4.4.1958 and behind of two interesting stories of a couple and a of helpless woman maintaining her siblings as a Participator in a clothing competition.
The remain movie is filled with its every day program plus the two parts of embroidery contest. Interesting movie with many songs known to me and good performances among the most actors. The pair of elder actors shines in both stage and no stage performance
Hoping that this is not a spoiler I am also noticing a partial listing of the movie as a Greek fan of Malay music since 90s : hitam manis by P Ramlee and the featured song selamat hari raya in the end of the show . Songs by Awie as filler and finally nino bobo a well known lullaby from Indonesia.
