Interesting and relaxing
I keep my TV on PBS most of the time. It's a fun channel because you never know what you're going to discover. It exposes you to more of the world than network television, which doesn't have much variety besides talk shows and courtroom programs. When this show came on, I got completely absorbed. I love the laid back style of the people filming their trip. Their interactions are humorous. It really does feel like you're watching a group of friends who are just being their authentic selves and enjoying the great outdoors. The episode I watched, they were in Kings Canyon. It's nice to see a part of California that's not covered in the media. I feel like national parks and rural geography around the world in general don't receive enough attention. A lot of people would rather go to touristy areas, and don't give much thought to taking a vacation to a more isolated section of a state or country itself. I personally love gazing upon landscape just as much as I do visiting a city. I started doing landscape photography several years ago, and it's such an enjoyable hobby. We need more shows like this. It's so intriguing and brightens your day.
