Little Black Lie (2019)

Review by ncservices8

Little Black Lie

10/10

A thought-provoking tale of guilt.

"Little Black Lie" is a thought-provoking film that dives deep into the complexities of truth and deception. Masterfully directed by Todd Theman, the movie captivates viewers with its modern interpretation of the love triangle and skillful execution. Written with profound insight, the script confronts how impulsivity and neglect can lead us to catastrophic consequences, leaving audiences contemplating our own perspectives even after the credits roll. What sets the film apart from other films is its unblinking exploration of truths; making us think about the nature of honesty and the lengths we go to protect ourselves and sometimes others. I think the main actors did an outstanding job; Nick Ballard (as Jake), Todd Theman (as Ethan), Stephanie Lynn (as Rachel), Clayton LaDue (as Chad) and Casey O'Keefe (as Suze)--I have to mention how cute Swootie the little dog is too!

Great movie!
