Esin Varan in Nobody's Angel (2022)

Review by Killa42

Nobody's Angel

3/10

Keep trying Kevin Key

Kevin Key somehow managed to get this story he wrote greenlit. It had a good premise. But it's likely that the only reason this movie came to be was because the writer pushed for it and got some people to back the film with money. There's a saying in research that goes "garbage in, garbage out." It's not supposed to hurt feelings rather encourage people to only put something worthwhile out into the world. This film is unfortunately not worthwhile. Reading the synapse, you can see where it goes wrong. It starts great: Female killers parade as hookers to lull their victims. Then, where it goes wrong, the movie is actually about a police office, who is investigating the crimes. And the dialogue needed work, too. For example, the "good hooker" starts by trying to rip a john off. The john fights back, and the altercation gets the attention of some assassin hookers who help her. The dialogue in that scene was horrible. Kevin Key should research movies like this instead of simply writing them. Naked Killer with Maggie Q was similar, but done much better, for example. In fact, viewers could essentially skip this movie and watch Naked Killer, getting the same idea done in a much better way. I wanted to watch a movie about female assassins who used their sexuality to kill, and got a strange dialogue-heavy story that centered on some male-protagonist I didn't care for. 3-stars for the good premise.
