Jeffrey Wright and Riley Keough in Aucun homme ni dieu (2018)

Review by stubkar-710-284316

Aucun homme ni dieu

8/10

Averaging between 5 and 6? WTF

More Creepy/Moody/Suspenseful than 75% of the films that have directors seeking these senses. Plus some of the most brutal and realistic violence ever depicted on the screen. If you're reading this, it's not your fault that other reviewers simply don't get it. A smug thing to say, but it's why I'm in here. To provide a counter to the "boredom" that they're thinly using as a blanket pan. It's by no means perfect, but has sequences that will burn a permanent scar into your brain. Scenes that you'll never forget.

I'm tired of modern audiences having zero patience will films. They're a prime mover in the industry's awful change in direction, towards 100% remakes, sequels, prequels, and "next generation" rehashes that will probably give us more garbage like never before.
