Ça va chauffer, Sartana revient! (1971)

Review by jordondave-28085

Ça va chauffer, Sartana revient!

3/10

I love speghetti westerns but this obvious quickie was intended for the simpleminded

Saw this as "Hands Up, Dead Man" and not as "Raise Your Hands, Dead Man, You're Under Arrest". There's a six minute intro which showcases Lee (Aldo Sambrell) while in a Yankee uniform going on a shooting spree killing in cold blood wounded and unarmed confederate soldiers. And upon him going inside of a destroyed unit possibly a church or school he pays attention to more wounded confederate soldiers in there as well. And it was during at this point, he hands over a loaded pistol to a physician (Peter Lee Lawrence) and mocks him from being a respected doctorate into a professional gunfighter. And when he becomes really good, good enough to shoot as many as 3 or 4 outlaws at once, he then puts it into good use by thwarting every move baddie Lee from taking by force as well as killing and stealing peoples land or territory. The action is dumb, pretentious and ridiculous... that even the comic relief monk was cheap, unfunny and cringe worthy which is why as I had said at the outset that this movie is intended for the simple minded .
