Link's Awakening
The cutest of Zelda games. When people categorize Zelda games, they usually go with '2D' and '3D', which is funny, cause there are like 3 2D games in the whole franchise. Links Awakening is the best one out of those 3, much shorter and to the point than the others.
Link to the past was a more nuanced adventure, but it feels much more mechanically outdated than Link's awakening. Short, sweet and cute without being too loud or in your face with its color palette and soundtrack.
