Caito Aase, Travis Delgado, and Sarah Lin Mitchell in 2 in the Bush: A Love Story (2018)

Review by kosmasp

2 in the Bush: A Love Story

7/10

(Relationship) anxiety

Spike Lee tried something similar - and when he did it, I thought: of course people will be interested with a premise like that. Or at least a lot of people might be. This is a different bi-st (spelled beast - as in I am using a pun here).

But apart from any wet dreams you may have (and there is a fair amount of nudity and love making, but nothing that is there to excite or entice you in and of itself): this is a drama. This is about someone finding their own self - and their dreams and what they want to make of their life(s) ... really well acted. Even in moments that you may find cringe. Life is not always a smooth operator (does this count as a pun?).

Watch at your own peril and hopefully with an open mind. The movie deserves that - all involved in it too. They are being true to themselves and the subject matter.
