Gokberk Demirci, Berker Güven, and Özgü Kaya in Üç Kiz Kardes (2022)

Review by xuzuke

Üç Kiz Kardes

10/10

Simply a Treat

From the scenario, to the cast, to the suspense and the tension it is all a multi-layered bonus! Every character seems to have been given justice, for instance no one exists without a motive, a purpose, even the characters who seem to be random actually have a purpose to and of course that may not be revealed from the beginning. I hope that the character of Turkan will become more confident and self-subsisting moving on because we all need to see the "INDEPENDANT HEROINE". Hopefully in episodes to come we will be able to see a more confident and less damsel-like Turkan. For the rest of the matter I am glad that this is one of the series where family life is really crucial and female characters are being shown at least more capable of wisdom and freedom than before as for the case of Turkan at least they showed in a way that she is aiming to solve her problems which I believe should be the eventual direction the show should take that we don't need a hero to take us out of our problems as they will never stopping popping by so we ourselves would have to rise above them(not wait to die until the imaginary prince/hero comes by)
