Your Flesh Your Curse (2017)

Review by perfectx-71415

Your Flesh Your Curse

3/10

Artsy Fartsy With A Splash Of GroundHogs Day And Add A Whole Lot Of Torture

First off I just wanna say I was originally very excited to see this. Just by the name and cover I was completely all invested into watching this without even knowing much about it. God was I wrong on this one. Let me just say the first 30 mins are actually pretty decent, but man does this movie get boring quickly. Now it's not to say this movie is all bad. Actress Marie-Louise Damgaard puts on a harrowing performance. And effects and cinematography is really well done. Like I said in the title this is an artsy fartsy movie for better or worse! And for me it's definitely for the worse. This movie message is just pandering and pompous. And the overall movie is repetitive and a complete bore. For a movie that runs and hour and forty mins it feels like an eternity. Also this movie probably would have been better without trying to do the whole Groundhogs Day thing. It really adds nothing to the narrative of this picture for the most part. I get it there's supposed to be some deep message that your supposed to get from these scenes going back but really it doesn't come off with any really deep message. It just reeks of bad story telling and arrogant fart smelling from a terrible artist! And that's what this movie is at the end, bad art!
