This is my first Bill Zebub film from the Tomb of Terrors box set and while I haven't seen a lot of his film I'm pretty sure they are mostly the same. He ties up (mostly) good looking women and tells them what he's going to do them and then tortures, rapes and murders them- the last two usually off screen. Zebub seems to be able to accomplish what most low budget horror filmmakers are incapable of, getting very good looking women to get very naked for a very long period of time in his movies. Not all of them are stunners but compared to the average low budget movie filled with pock-marked chunkers his films are a breath of fresh air. I guess he doesn't mind sacrificing acting ability (not really necessary here) for good looks. The plot is basically non-existent just a guy filming himself torturing, raping and killing women to sell it as a "film" which he doesn't think anyone will believe is real. His motivation is that scream queens killed horror so he wants to kill them. While I don't agree with that I'm not a fan of the more popular scream queens as none of them are that attractive to me, Zebub's films usually have better looking women. If anything killed horror for a while it was Kevin Williamson's clean, sanitized, witty, safe films in the 90s and found footage. The highlight is easily a hot chick dancing to songs from Here in After. Everyone knows sexy babes can't resist grooving it to the jagged rhythms of Immolation. At 74 minutes and with near constant nudity this is a breeze to get through if you know what to expect from a Zebub film.
