Because although love is a feeling felt with the same organ all over the world, the styles of loving in cultures are very different. If you want to watch the series but cannot make sense of some of the things in the scenes, first of all, research the meaning of these things in Turkish and/or Islamic culture. Because it has such a finely crafted script that sometimes I have to go back to the dialogue from the previous scene to understand what happened in the scene when I got up to get tea and came back.
