V. Jayaprakash, Anupama Kumar, Oviya, and Sendrayan in Moodar Koodam (2013)

Review by karthikkumaravel-52567

Moodar Koodam

7/10

Dialogues are top notch

One of the best dialogues in Tamil Cinema.

Each character's back story are portrayed through songs. Politics, communism, racism, status and what not. This movie has everything.

When that kid says 'this was the first time someone trusted me, so I will have to uphold the trust no matter what' - this single scene is enough to explain about the education system and parent's mentality in Tamil Nadu.

JP acted in this movie without any ego. Everyone's acting is so on point to the character. But that character depth itself has become a disadvantage in some scenes. Little slow pace and less interesting events are the only negatives. Auto guy's character and his goons occupy the movie for 10-15 mons in between which is absolutely not needed and adds no value in the movie.

Long way to go for Naveen brother. His acting, dialog delivery everything is perfect. If you want to watch a movie which gives you a deep thought on how broken our society is, then go for it.
