I can't understand how any person, especially a judge, would even try food made by contestants with their hair down/in their face or around their face. I'm literally watching S1E2 and on the bake off elimination round you can see a piece of Ruth's hair on her counter next to the food she's cooking. And then Tom putting his hands in his hair getting flour in it and he does not stop to wash his hands. This isn't the only cooking show that I have seen stuff like this happen. If your going to put on a cooking show on TV the contestants should have to adhere to simple sanitary rules as all hair must be pulled back away from face completely, if you touch your face, hair, or your clothing you must stop and wash your hands and when you taste your food use a different utensil every time. Every time I go out to eat whether a fast food or dine in restaurant and I see them touch my food with their fingers or put their fingers around the lip of my glass I refuse the food or glass and remind them it's unsanitary and to please start over.
