Essentially just another stereotypical werewolf movie...
I stumbled upon the 2010 horror/thriller "Neowolf" (aka "The Band from Hell") in 2021. And of course with it being a horror movie then I took the time to sit down and watch it, as it was a movie that I hadn't already seen before.
And I will say that while "Neowolf" is a watchable movie, it just fell short of being an overly memorable or entertaining movie. It was a bit too monotonous and bland for a werewolf movie. And it was definitely a movie that had come in under the radar back in the day for me. Just as it is a movie that will just as quietly slip back into oblivion without having left any lasting impression on me.
The acting in the movie was actually fair enough, though the actors and actresses had very little solid material to work with in terms of an interesting storyline or properly fleshed out, pardon the pun, characters here.
Visually then "Neowolf" was just another generic werewolf movie, though you shouldn't expect any impressive transformation scenes. Nor should you expect to see some impressive creature designs on the werewolves when they have shapechanged.
"Neowolf" is a very bland experience, and as such my rating of it lands on a generous four out of ten stars.
