Karthik is a struggling singer . He with his friends Manivannan and others gate crash many music programmes . Roja and her father manage and organise music programmes . When their paths meet, Karthik and his friends manage to convince her that he himself is successful and related to a big famous musician . She takes the whole team to Mauritius for some programme . Cornered, now Karthik finally tells her the truth and A couple of duets follow . She appreciates his honesty and falls for him . Paralelly Kartik meets his step brother ( another Karthik ) who comes to tell him about their father's death . The will is being read and they want both the brothers to be present there . In some mis understanding , the step brother dies and the first Karthik goes to his house and impersonates him . Priya Raman is the lawyer who reads the will and says all the property has been written in the name of the first Karthik because the second one was a wastrel. Sowkar Janaki , his grandmother abhors the second son as he is a play boy andh as squandered a lot of property. Now the dilema is Karthik has been impersonating his dead second brother .The family dog understands that this is not the step brother . A total family movie with nice songs in nice locales . Both Roja and Priya are slim and are good eye candy . Karthik ( though not in full form here with a conspicuous wig ) plays both the roles with ease .
