Death Pool (2017)

Review by LeatherCajun

Death Pool

10/10

I loved this movie. Randy Wayne deserves and acting award for this.

Randy Wayne as a serial killer is astonishing in this movie, as is the film itself.

Everything is here for another dumbish teenage sex romp, and Randy Wayne is a veteran of too many of those. His boyish blond great looks and thick muscular body are the main attraction of many of his films. We get a lot more of that here, but we also get a better portrayal of a serial killer, in action, than I have seen in any film. Dexter never talked to or kissed or played with his dead victims, but if you read anything about real serial killers, that is what they do. Wayne does that here is spades and acts the hell out of it. I believed him as the impossibly handsome impossibly cold serial killer, a la Ted Bundy, and this film showed some intimate kisses and play with his dead victims that I have never seen portrayed in more big budget films. Even his serial killer fans were perfect, as was his slightly disgusted attitude towards them.

If you enjoy BUDGET thrillers that have some redeeming art in them, I highly recommend.
