I remember this serial from all those years ago and I remember thinking how spooky it was. I even had a nightmare about Hillary Mason who played the part of Mrs Medlock. Of course, it's not spooky at all, but I think it was the sound of the crippled boy crying in the night that spooked me (I was only seven).
