Do you like disguises?
This martial arts movie cannot be faulted for forgetting the story line. Here is a complicated plot with interesting characters and even disguises thrown in. Unfortunately they skimped on the action. Sometimes the final fight can make up for that. Sometimes. Perhaps this was all to accommodate the lead actress and play to her strengths rather than weakness.
This is still an enjoyable movie and it remains on my list of martial arts movies from the golden age 1967 to 1984 that I rewatch every five years or so. I can only rate it average and no more.
Sammo Hung can be spotted as one of the bad guys. 1970 seemed to be a busy year for him at Shaw Brothers as he can be spotted in almost every movie and even gets credits as an action director (but not here).
