Lindsay Frost and Lee Horsley in Palomino (1991)

Review by rochelleboivin

Palomino

10/10

Heartfelt, passionate love story will bring out all the emotions

Highly recommend this passionate story from America's beloved Queen of romance, Danielle Steel.

Lee Horsley brings the heat as rugged cowboy Tate Donovan, and Lindsay Frost is perfect as Samantha Taylor, the blonde New Yorker who flies to California to visit longtime friend Caroline Lord at the ranch.

Fueled by passion, anger, tragedy, desire, heartbreak and triumph, "PALOMINO" will warm your heart, bring out all the possible emotions a human can feel.

Well-written script by Karol Ann Hoeffner, who adapted Steel's novel as well as other Steel books.

As a longtime Steel reader, I've enjoyed a wide array of her TV movies, but this one claims the prize as the most loved.

The breathtaking scenery of southern California and the rolling, golden hills provide the perfect romantic backdrop, along with horses, cowboys and a great cast. PALOMINO will not disappoint.
