Mirai Shida and Haruna Kawaguchi in POV: Norowareta firumu (2012)

Review by clizmail

POV: Norowareta firumu

6/10

It's quite fun

This is the kind of movie that we shouldn't be too serious about. I think it actually surpasses what it's supposed to accomplish. In real life, we do have this kind of cheesy TV shows that attempt to capture super natural stuffs(and occasionally fake the important parts). We can say this movie is the ultimate version of such show. For that standard, it's really good. Like those TV shows, they never make thing go too crazy here in order to make it feel more realistic. The ghosts here never directly injure anyone. I think those people freak out way too easily. Anyway, whether it's scary or not, it's quite a fun ride. The fact the two main actresses are played by themselves is just pure joy. It gives me some good laughs here and there. However, I think it's kind of lame to emphasize the ending at the beginning of the film while nothing big happens at the end.
