Sai Dharam Tej and Raashi Khanna in Supreme (2016)

Review by fillerruth

Supreme

5/10

Sai Dharam Tej steals the show....mass entertaining movie with some very good songs.....

First of all, I want to say I am a big fan of Telugu masala film. The way they execute the mass emotion and the entertaining action, That is very imposing. Hero's introduction scene, Fight sequence, emotional dialogues that all are very engaging in a Telugu masala film. These are the most entertaining and enjoyable parts of a Telugu film. They forcibly put some very choppy comedy and humor but that is also enjoyable sometimes. I like all these features for a Telugu movie these all are present in this movie. This movie is totally for the mass audience and luckily the movie worked.

This is the story of a cab driver named Balu played by Sai Dharam Tej. I know this guy and I know he is a good actor but in this movie he has done a very good job and me just speechless. He is a new actor but his acting is very tempting and without any doubt he is the heart of this movie. The cab driver comes across a child where many lives depend on him. But somehow he gets involved in a clash with a mafia team who wants that the child to be killed. Not a very fresh story but the story is good. The script is well written and the screenplay is not bad. The director was trying to establish some emotions and sometimes it worked. The suspense and the thrills are very enjoyable and well made.

I know Telugu masala movie are totally dependent on hero's screen presence and the stories are always based on the hero's character. Though this is true but in this movie Sai Dharam Tej surpassed all his previous film by acting, action and dance. The another plus point is "taxi waa la" song. This song is very well choreographed and picturization was very good.

If you are a masala movie lover and want to spend a good 2.5 hours this is a very good choice for you.
