Fair french women's prison drama
Melanie Thierry gives here a very interesting performance as an inmate who is pregnant and then have to face with all difficulties for her that follow. At first, I confounded her with Lea Seydoux. She looks like her very much. It's a real women's story, as we saw very often in the US movie industry, in the past, women in jail, but less brutal. A very sensitive feature, of course. We find here some ugly characters, such as the Corinne Masiero's one, the bad gal of this dark but not so desperate tale. Masiero is somewhere a sort of female Marc Barbe, for this kind of topic. If you know what Marc Barbe is usually taken for in dramas. See his filmography...
A good little drama, for which, I presume, not so many audiences asked for. So shame.
