Complete fail
Poorly conceived, poorly executed, poorly paced, poorly judged. Jamie and Adam are mere set decoration to draw us in. I don't think I've ever been so disappointed with a show, and I have been a HUGE Mythbusters fan from the very first episode.
The biggest problem is that the judging is ENTIRELY subjective. In all the episodes I've watched either team could really have been declared the winner. There's no reasonable metric, it's just what appeals to Adam and Jamie, and who cares? The whole show fails on this point. The machines don't translate well to video, and somehow they have to make a competition out of it and declare a winner. Oh, surprise surprise, the artists always win.
REALLY disappointing. I hope it goes away and doesn't come back. More worthy of the screw-ups on the "bulid team" than of Adam and Jamie.
