Good God

10/10

This show is brilliant!

This show is a perfect example of sarcastic, well written, mockumentary-style television. Fair warning - if you listen to Beck or Limbaugh, this show is probably not for you. It centers around George Findlay, a cynical, selfish (and incidentally Jewish) TV producer who is given the job of running a Christian, right-wing TV network (Right News) by his girlfriends rich, ultra-conservative father. But the show isn't just about mocking the conservative right and their take on the news - it also fabulously lampoons workplace politics and relationships. The push for sensational news is universal no matter what network, and Right News is no exception. The characters are well defined and hilarious - from the perfect Christian woman with an addiction to porn to the egotistical news anchor who thinks sexual harassment is something made up by leftist conspirators. I highly recommend it!
