This film showcases the beautiful scenery in the south west of WA and also shows that a low budget does not have to mean low quality. The film has great characters and bucket loads of laughs. Contributing to the flavor of this film is the distinctly Australian dialog and interaction between the characters. Bitter Art is probably the best introduction for visitors from overseas to learn about Australia since The Odd Angry Shot. For instance there is the ability to finish your beer on the way from the bar to your table, or bartering services for beer; both distinctly Australian. And then there is the six foot tall chicken....
