Excellent independent film
I just finished screening this movie for the Prescott Film Festival and gave it my unflinching recommendation. It is a well acted movie. Doug Jones does an outstanding job in the title role. He plays this man going through a time of change and makes it believable. Allison Scagliotti is outstanding as Trisha bringing her unique sassy attitude, but with a depth that made me want to see more of her story. Katlyn Carlson is also excellent as Jordan. She made me believe the friendship with Jerry. In addition the rest of the supporting cast is outstanding. There are no duds anywhere on the screen.
The movie also has an excellent soundtrack (wish I could find "My Feet Run" on iTunes). The overall production quality and story are excellent. I was impressed with the decisions that were made in the story. They didn't over do it. They made sensible, realistic decisions. If you get a chance to see "My Name is Jerry" - take it! You won't regret the 100 minutes you spend with these characters.
