The Drum Beats Twice (2008)

Review by mrsir718

The Drum Beats Twice

Here it is....

Now, I've practically made a career out of watching "bad" movies. Not bad along the lines of Blade Trinity or the more recent Yes Man where it's just an unsatisfying experience. No, I mean films like The Giant Claw, Shark Attack 3,etc. Films that are vastly entertaining because of their faults. Films that make you feel like you are losing your mind watching them because they are so insanely bad. With that said, might I humbly suggest you watch TDBT.

There are WAAAY to many things to list here as to why this film is so special but it all comes down to one man's uncompromising vision... Kenneth F'ing Del Vecchio. He truly has done something extraordinary with this film. His performance is something that must be seen to be believed. It would be easier to describe the effects of acid to someone who is deaf than explain the joys of watching this man give a truly unforgettable performance. I know I'm coming off facetious with this but I PROMISE YOU, you will not believe your eyes or any other sensory receptor organ. Please just make it to the "drumming" sequence and your life will be changed forever. Enjoy and WOW.
