Seishun kigeki: Harenchi gakuen (1970)

Review by crossbow0106

Seishun kigeki: Harenchi gakuen

7/10

More Of The Same

This is the third installment of this series, only in Japanese, and its just filled with mayhem. Sometimes its the students against the faculty, sometimes its the girls against the boys, but its all crazy stuff. There's a lot of skirt lifting, a lot of running around, a lot of utter silliness. This is for fans of slapstick comedy. Miyuki Kojima is here again as (kind of) the star and she looks her best, probably because she became a bit older over the three films. Its nonsense, it really is. It is a relic of a bygone era, as we may never again see a film where these weird things happen. Its just a lampoon of Japanese schools, things like this never went on there..did they? If you like Benny Hill type humor, this third in a series of four films is fun. You don't need to understand Japanese, its relatively easy to follow. Its silliness, but I don't think you'd be outraged about it. If you love slapstick, thats what this is.
