I'm a very opened minded person but when I saw previews to this shows I had little to no expectations of this show but once I started watching it I found myself quite surprised it wasn't all that bad of a show yes at times it can be cheesy and campy but with this show it's alright because yes it's that but it's also funny,cute, and sweet and it isn't too serious like most of the shows on The-N most of them are too hard core and sometimes you just want to relax and laugh a little and that's when "About A Girl" comes in I recommend this show for many reasons if you don't like it fine but I do think you should definitely give it a chance and check it out I think in the end you'll be quite surprised and happy to watch "About a Girl"
