The Problem with Fiber Optics

9/10

Boy faces usual obstacles when trying to get the girl

This was an incredible film. Casting was genius, as exemplified by the performance of the lead Ptolemy Slocum. Characters are intriguingly quirky and well developed, the plot was intricate and unpredictable. Visual effects were fresh, not those we've seen a hundred times. The director/writer took a lot of chances all of which paid off to create an original, surprising, and very funny film. If his talents are recognized, I predict some innovative, artistic, wildly successful films for all of us in the near future! I believe this film has won numerous awards already. I know it's been seen at numerous film festivals. If you have a chance to see it... DO! You won't see another one like it!
