A very decent mini-series that make up the prequel to 3KMTG
Viewable on the official 3000 Miles to Graceland website, Lichtenstein gives us the story on how it all started for Thomas J. Murphy and Michael Zane, two ex-cons who have recently been released from jail. These are flash movies, so there is no actual physical acting in these shorts, but the characters drawn are the spitting images of the characters portrayed in the actual film. Lichtenstein managed to drag some of the original actors for the voices of their characters, though, which happens to work pretty well. Watching these shorts, you will better understand the motives behind the people in 3KMTG, and even get the scoop on Murphy's very lightly-noted service in the Vietnam War. I'd recommend anyone who enjoyed the movie to go the the official website and watch these episodes. It's not crucial, but very informative, and just plain fun to watch.
