One of the very best TV productions of the 1990's
In my humble opinion "Boeses Blut" is one of the best German TV productions of the 1990's.
It has a stellar cast with great actors like Nadja Tiller (she was a famous actress in the 1950's and 1960's), Mathieu Carrière, Désirée Nosbusch, Rainer Hunold, Eva Brumby, Horst Keitel. Joerg Pleva and Marion Kracht who was remarkable in the TV three-parter "Flucht ins Paradies" with Peter Bongartz.
The filming locations are especially beautiful. It was filmed in Northern Germany in the old town of Luebeck, at the Brodtener Steilufer (a cliff at the Baltic Sea) between Niendorf and Travemuende and it was also filmed at other Baltic Sea beaches.
The plot is riveting and I can watch it every few years again. Thank God, this is out on DVD. 10 stars.
