Tales of Berseria is, if I may so boldy proclaim, the quintessential JRPG. The story is overly complicated to the point of confusing, the combat is difficult but extremely rewarding to learn, and the overwhelming majority of the cast of characters are memorable.

I played the game with the English Dub, and about 99% of the work was phenomenal. There is the occasional line that feels out of place, but 99% of the time the direction fits the mood.

The game has tons of extra side content as well that lets you better know the characters, making it all the sadder when the game eventually has to end.
