Mosharraf Karim in Chokkor 302 (2025)

Review by fauzulkc

Chokkor 302

9/10

The new gen Bangla Movie people have been waiting for.

I walked into this screening with the lowest possible expectations, my attendance driven solely by the appeal of Mosharraf Karim.

This film hasn't just entertained me; it has fundamentally reshaped my perception of Bangla cinema and breathed fresh life into the industry.

It's a thriller that grabs you from the start, cleverly interspersing moments of subtle wit to break the tension without diminishing its impact. The film's nuanced portrayal of local language and its seamless integration of perspectives from different generations are particularly noteworthy. It masterfully balances a thrilling plot with thoughtful explorations of family dynamics and the ever-present tension between modernity and tradition.

With its sharp, insightful dialogues, a flawlessly chosen cast, and truly captivating performances, this is a film that deserves attention. It has not only met but far exceeded any expectations, leaving me genuinely optimistic about the future of Bangla movies.
