This wonderful, very moving and at the same time funny film tells the story of two friends, who cannot be more different from each other: Paul (Steffen Wink) is an attractive, extrovert, often superficial ladies' man, while Alex (Frank Giering) is an introvert young man who had one leg amputated as a child. Though so different, they are the best of friends and also work both as comedians. While preparing for an important comedy contest, Alex learns that he is terminally ill. His only wish is to do something good for his best friend: he goes to the United States to look for a famous comedian who is a role model for Paul...
