I still own a copy of this movie. I saw a t-shirt in a store the other day that had Rose petal on it and i had it on the brain. It was a short little cartoon movie about a little girl whose family is moving so before she goes she is out in the rose garden crying over her favorite rose because she doesn't want to leave and this is what brings Rose Petal and friends to life. But there is an evil spider and fly minion that try to destroy Rose petal's beauty and make the rose garden into a horrible looking land scape. It was rather good. It came out the year I was born and my grand mother had scene it and bought a copy when it was released. I doubt it is still available though.
