I like Dorff. I've enjoyed his work. He just couldn't carry this.

First, Kentucky was not the old west at the turn of that century. Cowboys weren't hanging out in saloons. Missed the mark completely there.

Cage I find to be hit or miss and this was a miss. Not sure exactly what his character he was going for, but the whole thing of retired bad guy returning to his lawless ways is trite, to say the least. Not sure if he was going for an odd Johnny Depp-type character but sorry, this just didn't do it.

Antagonist was a little too over the top for me.

The supporting cast was good, don't get me wrong, but the script was pretty lame for any of them to cut through.

The action was mid level, but there were scenes where it was hard to tell good guys from bad guys, who is shooting who?

I could go on, but...why? Watch this when it's free, I would not recommend paying. Sorry Stephen, I'll buy you a beer and talk about your good roles some day.

I love a good action flick. Plot line was a little thin, granted, but I thought the action was great. Hardy always is brilliant imo; I enjoy his work. Olyphant plays a good bad guy and Whittaker is always himself which I can appreciate. Supporting cast was good. I think this is a good action flick to spend an hour or two on. I mean c'mon, action flicks aren't there to win Oscars but to entertain, and this one did.

Hell I have to keep writing to get this posted soooo, the female rookie, forgot her name forgive me, was good and I hope to see her in more.

This one is definitely bloody but that's part of an action movie. The death of the one bad guy was brilliantly done, almost horror movie-like.

I don't do reviews normally. I'm not a critic that anyone would care to hear.

That being said, I do want to leave some words for this movie.

This character in my opinion is one of the top action characters ever created. And Affleck portrays it perfectly. I mean, no other words needed, this was/is HIS character.

Anna Kendrick fit perfectly. I've always enjoyed her work. Anna has an everyday woman type persona, someone you would like to have as a friend and hang out with.

Bernthal.... Bernthal is a man's man. I enjoy every role he has portrayed. Some guys don't like him but I would say some guys have no balls so they just don't get that gut machismo that Jon has.

Bernthal and Affleck fit together well here and I bought this one. I'll watch this again as a good action flick from time to time.

A sequel is now coming and I understand why. This was one helluva sleeper that people just didnt get at first. I just hope they can continue the mood of this one and not turn it into a forgettable buddy cop type thing, trite and overdone for quick money.

Be sure to have Solomon Grundy make an appearance as well.
