I would give this film a 9, but after reading a few of the 1 star ratings, I can see there are some really upset people that have altered perceptions of we regular folks call reality. So on that note, I give this film a 10.
Sacha Baren Cohen gives the performance of his life playing a character that feels like it was etched out for him to play.
Eddie Redmayne gives the right performance for his role, not over done and the opposite side of the coin compared to Sacha.
Michael Keaton was in a very small role, however was absolutely on point and a firecracker on screen.
The true power house performance imo is the actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen. Reserved to an extent, but absolutely fiery and so well done.
The judge in this movie is so good at making you hate him. Absolutely brilliant performance.
This is a film that deserves to be seen. And is well acted and well told by Sorkin, who knows how to do drama.

This is a film that deserves to be seen. And is well acted and well told by Sorkin, who knows how to do drama.
This movie has literally zero flaws. It's a modern day masterpiece. One of those rare gems that don't happen too often. For any review that tells you the ending isn't good, wasn't paying attention. Because I literally knew exactly what would happen before it happened because it felt so narratively perfect. This film holds nothing back. The cinematography was an absolute triumph. This movie looks amazing. The actresses playing the lead here are brilliant, absolutely deserving of an Oscar but will never get one because this film is considered horror, and the people that vote on that stuff couldn't understand horror if it spoke to them and slapped them in the face. This film was brilliant. Watch it with an open mind and make up your own.
