Not worth your time even though it´s less than 90 minutes of duration.
There is no actual plot in this film, it's just scene after scene with weird themes in the middle of them (by themes I mean schock value moments and cuestionable actions to keep the audience interested in the movie).
Not even a bad movie that it´s good, just terrible. The acting is mediocre at it´s best (incluiding the minimal Molly Ringwald scenes), the location was ok but very misused in the end, the writing is terrible because like I said: there is no structure to this film, and the ending just leaves no answers to be solved.
In the end if you want to watch a crappy movie just to kill some time then see this trash, if not don't waste your time nor subscribe to an exclusive platform that has this movie in their catalog.

This movie feels longer than it's actual running time (95 minutes), could've cut some scenes or just avoided the unnecesary slow motion efects. Besides of that i couldn't cope with any of the characters, none of them are likebable (I know it's based on a true story) nor portrayed good, the bad acting didn't help either.
The film captures all the classic indie genre clichés, doesn't add depth to the main character (wich is the centre of this story) and has no clear message or reflection in the end.
Even for a novice director the writing has to be better, it was way too predictive as the film itself. The editing was terrible, I get the film doesn't follow a conventional structure but at times feels rush and annoying when you're watching some actual plot and then switching to random stuff.

Máncora is a beach in the north of Peru, the films that come out of that country usually operate in cities like Lima or Cuzco, which is why I was surprised by the location on the aforementioned coastal beach.
Although it is a simple and easy story to carry (the runnning time is not too heavy), the film does not comply with giving a clear message nor does it give a final purpose to its protagonists and history; great scenery and production value, the performances were good although the personalities as well as the dialogues of some characters become very clichéd and repetitive.
Peruvian cinema no longer usually surprises with the plots of its films, but Máncora was undoubtedly the exception. 4/10.
