You know, some films you just can't expect too much from. This is one of them.

There were dodgy accents a plenty, bits where I was sure the soundtrack was skipping (but probably over dubbed instead) and the tired and weary trope of sharks being mean.

However, despite having to fish my eyeballs from the back of my head at times, I managed to enjoy this.

B-movies aren't meant to be the greatest thing ever. Whether this knew it was a B-movie from the off is for debate.

Ultimately, it was enjoyable enough with some excellent 'acting' in the mass shoot outs. Much fun!

I was tempted to give it a five, but Dreyfus pulled it out at the end to deliver a message about sharks actually being lovely.

Oh, and there's some great underwater shots. As someone who has never been diving, and is too scared of the sea to try it, it was beautiful to see some good shots.

I've been learning Norwegian for four years now (Duolingo and I'm taking my time!) so I do love the opportunity to test myself on how little I understand! Adding a bit of Danish was an experience too!

This film had been on my watchlist for a while and I can't believe I waited so long.

It has so much heart and a lot of angst. And it's funny with it too.

Modern life is rubbish and I get the whole taking it back to simpler times thing. Obviously, women aren't so keen since we had to do everything while constantly pregnant back then! But this film is about men and their struggles in the modern world and I think it manages to capture all those difficult feelings and frustrations, with a sprinkle of humour about the ridiculousness of it all.

A stellar film. Wonderful scenery. Great acting. Simple. Smart. Funny.

I can't find any fault, I'll happily watch it again, so it's a solid ten.
