My second favourite Christmas Carol just behind The Muppets Christmas Carol. I loved the animation and It gave a lot more freedom to give us the Christmas Carol they wanted and the Ebenezer Scrooge only Jim Carrey could.
It had everything you could want joy, heartbreak, tension and darkness.
Music was on point from the joyous orchestra Christmas music to the more sombre moments.
Can't recommend highly enough.
5* out of 5*

Wow, this was so much better than I was expecting. It really hit me In the childhood feels and had me feeling like a kid again watching Mewtwo Strikes Back, and It did all that without ever feeling like It was trying to force you to feel nostalgic or playing on It.
I loved that they used a lot of different Gen Pokémon, there was so many times I wanted to pause the movie to just look at the background to see all the Pokémon.
The Pokémon looked so good especially Squirtle, my favourite, was cute.
My biggest worry was Reynold's Pikachu character was just gonna be a pg Deadpool but thankfully It wasn't. Don't get me wrong, I love Deadpool a Deadpool/Pikachu character does not sound good to me.
Pokémon Detective Pikachu Is a brilliant film for fans of the games/show both old and new or even people who have no Idea about Pokémon.

A tv movie that's Abyss meets Sphere with a little bit of Deep Rising thrown In for good measure. This movie was bad, like It got to the point where I was so annoyed with every single character In this movie that I started rooting the creatures.
The only reason I'm giving 2* Instead of 1* Is Mark Sheppard(Crowely from Supernatural), he played his character perfectly, the only good thing about this movie.
If you didn't know It was made In 2003 like me you'd think this was made In the late 80's early 90's.

That was a groovy ride through the years of Scooby Doo. So much nostalgia from the original series and the best of Is that It made perfect sense storywise to have It be such a big part of the story.
A perfect blend for fans that grew up with the orinal series and those growing up with the newer one.
The after credits scene was a nice touch and shouldn't be missed.

A great found footage movie, with an estimated budget of just $15,000 they really did a good job.
With such a small budget they weren't able to really show anything scary but what they did do was build tension, by showing little things and leaving It to your Imagination by showing the stress on the characters and the effects It has on them.
The characters were well written acted out, they weren't always likeable like they were at the beginning (Micah) but It In character and believable for the situation.
I've the saying "Less Is more" works best for found footage movies and Paranormal Activity uses It well. If only the later entries to the series used It.

As close to a perfect Scooby Doo live action movie as you can possibly get. Mathew Lillard and Linda Cardellini are literally the personification of Shaggy/Velma, not to say Freddie Prince Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar weren't good as Fred/Daphne but you don't get the Immersion of the characters like the other two.
The CGI used for Scooby was great and better than you'd expect for a Scooby Doo Live movie, It surprisingly still holds up well In 2020.
The Mystery Machine was a thing of beauty for the sadly short aount of time It's on screen. It's Impressive considering even the animated movies even struggle with It's design sometimes, even butchering In some movies.
James Gunn did an amazing job on the screenplay of keeping the cartoon show feeling but mordernising It and adding some subtle/unsubtle adult humour .
Believable friction between the gangs ego's and personalities clashing but the love Is evident.
10/10 Scooby Doo movie.

10/10 Scooby Doo movie.
Better than I was expecting considering the show kinda went the way of the Simpsons, good but not great. Antonio Banderas stole the show.
The music was weak compared to what we're used to from SpongeBob and no real emotional moment like the first film. It did have a joke or two for adults though.

Would've been 6/10 but that Beastie Boy's scene Is one of my favourite scenes from all Star Trek movies, up there with the Battle Of Sector 001, and Is easily my favourite from the Reboot trilogy.
So with that In mind It's 8/10 from me.

Classic tale of first love, longing, loss and refinding each other all compressed Into 4 minutes. All that without even a word spoken.
If the writer's could make the show's episodes at this quality then they would be at least half as good as they used to be.

Geri's game really manages to make you feel emotionally connected to Geri In such a short amount of time. Laughter to worry then back to laughter and then at the end, at least for me, a heartbreaking realisation.
Poor Geri Is so lonely. 😥

A very bare bones Christmas Carol but what can you expect when It's only 26 minutes.
It was a bit weird having a Scottish Scrooge but I loved It. Alan Young did a great job as Scrooge McDuck.
I wasn't really a fan of the Ghost's of Christmas past/present but future was alright.
Overall a pretty good Christmas Carol.

Burton, Elfman & Selick came together to create both the greatest Animated movie ever and the greatest Musical ever In one.
Everything Is perfect from the story, character/world designs, voice acting/singing etc.
The stop motion Is beautiful and I've seen It so many times I sing along to every song.
The best way to describe Troy Is that It's an alright film with Blockbuster worthy battle scenes.
Honestly, the reason I've given It 3.5/5 Instaead of 2.5/5 Is Brad Pitts/Achilles fighting style, Richard Ryan deserves huge praise for the fight choreography and developing the Individual fighting styles. If ever a fighting style for a man could be described as sleek & sexy then Achilles Is It.

AC/DC putting on one of the best live shows I've ever seen.
It's got all the Sam Raimi greatness to It right down to having his brother and Bruce Campbell In minor roles. A good middle of the road between his Evil Dead trilogy and Spider-Man trilogy If slighly less polished than them.
The damn near perfect start to the Harry Potter movie franchise. Really captures the childish wonder of discovering a world of magic, from eveyrday magic lessons, quidditch & magical creatures while slowly Introducing a small part of the darker part of the world. Philosopher's Stone Is the lightest Installment of the HP films.
Minus a star for Fred saying "Da Bomb Diggetty" and the beating the poor Mystery Machine took.😢
Apart from that It's a great Scooby Doo film.
As a kid I had a big soft spot for It because It was a Scooby Doo film set In Scotland, where I'm from.
