I love this documentary. It's a great step forward in utilizing journalism to challenge mainstream notions of science and history. Great storyline. Amazing if anything. It takes you through the journey Hancock theorizes quite smoothly helping the viewer understand the mysticism.
History and anthropology buffs will enjoy this in particular because of how much connections they can make between their own knowledge and what Hancock is trying to show us.
There are some missed connections in the telling and analysis of events mostly due to not enough attention on local and lost folklore of the locations in question (specifically the ones in the ME less in SA sites). The sites in Turkey for example have many stories connected to them from local people or regional populations who also carry the same history. But nonetheless it's a 10/10 because Hancock makes sure he doesn't miss anything else.

You don't know who to be angry at most. So many questions after the show as many people mentioned. Unfortunate there are low ratings mentioning the story itself because it is disgusting and worth telling because if one family can be this negligent, this can happen to many more.
This is also another nod towards sexual harassment being a present threat even around those closest to victims and how aware we should always be.

This show isn't your Survivor or Cast Away kind of survival content; it takes on a deeper realm which addresses surviving toxic childhoods and breaking free of misconceptions and hurdles for survival.
Through her journey, she tackles issues of living with a parent with mental health problems as well as a controlling parent who tries to impose his way of thinking. It tackles being abandoned and breaking away from the chains of childhood trauma in order to survive. It's not for everyone I agree but it does a great job at addressing these issues.
Many women would be able to emphasise with the show because it really portrays the polarized world of mothers and the different ways we grow out of the experience of motherhood.
