I watched the first episodes and I got really hooked up. I founded it fool of suspence, action, drama etc. At season two I started to press the forward button because I couldn't stand four things: 1) the excess of opened bodies, organs and blood in every scene, 2) the expression on Conrad and Nic's face, practically the same in every action wether it's a sad scene, funny or angry. Same "I'm so cool" expression, 3) their whispering way of talking all the time is annoying 4)the apparently healed patient that all of a sudden gets really worse, specially patients that they really care about. I already knew it was coming. Anyway, I've seen worse.
I kind of enjoyed these series, it's a good story, beautiful atmospheres and all but it's kind of annoying to see these "Barbie" actresses that are perfect, all dressed up with perfect make up ALL THE TIME, wether they are running or sleeping or crying, make up seams not to ever go away, I mean, NEVER. I don't know if that "forces" the actress to always have a perfect expression or is just the actress who is almost unable to change it. Please! The story goes from happiness to sadness back and forward so it would be nice to see real expression of happiness or sadness, I think it would be more credible. Nothing wrong to become more human.
I love Christmas movies and try to watch them all during the Holidays but besides the fact that they are starting to become a little monotonous, the apparently impossible love story, the interrupted kiss, the misunderstanding before the end to try to put a little pepper, etc. I believe that the choice of actors wasn't very accurate as Jill Wagner is 7 years older than Nick Bateman and it really shows. Specially if they were supposed to have had a love story many years before, the age difference must've been more obvious. No chemistry at all and the acting in general was really fake. I found this movie sweet but that's it, no substance and not even nice views like other Christmas movies.
