This show was just intriguing and sci-fi enough that I tuned in, and I liked what I saw - a nice, family show, a little bit racy but probably realistic with the teen sex stuff, well acted, well written, likable people, and the small intriguing mystery of who or what is Kyle - science experiment who escaped from the lab? alien life form? etc. Find myself tuning in each week to see what happens next, plus it's a good bonus that it re-airs on Fri nights on ABC, if you miss it on Monday on ABC Family channel. The online stuff about the 'mystery' is fun too - secret codes, mysterious messages, etc, - without being too intense and self-congratulatory about how clever it all is, like 'Lost' became. Matt Dallas is very good as the naive but super-smart mystery boy who wanders out of the woods naked and with no memory. I like the actors who play the parents a lot, and the rapport they have with each other and with their kids. Jean-Luc Bilodeau steals the show as the wise-guy younger brother, and the sister of the family deals with all the teenage girl angst of high school, relationships, sneaking around, mean-girl friends, and her on again/off again typically heartless and thoughtless boyfriend Declan, played by Chris Oliverio, is another mystery too, whether he's okay or totally bad news, etc. Nicholas Lea, formerly Krychek on X-Files, sneaks around menacingly as the mysterious bad guy who seems to be after Kyle and watching him and the family. It will be interesting to see where this story goes!

'Happily, Even After' is a very enjoyable, surprising, magical and heart-warming story that anyone would enjoy. Jason Behr stars as the troubled brother who is driving his successful sister crazy. His sister hires a "fairy godmother" assistant, to try and straighten the brother out. Marina Black and Faye Masterson as the two female leads give very strong performances, and there is a colorful assortment of supporting actors, including a cameo by Ed Asner as the judge. Jorge Garcia, now well-known on 'Lost' as Hurley, has a small role as one of the brother's friends. The film is set in San Francisco. It's great news that this film is now available on DVD from Hotbed.com, the filmmakers, at a reasonable price, so everybody can enjoy it!
