First of all, I want to clarify that I am not a Christian, nor have I read bible. With that being said, I didn't understand a bit of this movie. It was over dramatized and loaded with CGI. I felt so bored that I finished it in 5 sittings. The movie started so intense and remained that way till the end. From the first scene, I had no idea why all the characters were so stressed out, and till the end of the movie, I didn't get much idea either. It felt like I was watching the finale of season 6 without watching any previous episodes. The background score and makeup were exceptionally well. I know it was going to be a series and after cancellation, they released it as a movie, but did they just released the last 2 episodes??

This is good Sci-Fi/Steampunk which tells the story of the Redemption of mankind from the angelic perspective. If you really want to understand the nuances of this film, though, you'll need to be familiar with the Record (kept by the Record Keeper). Of course what is meant is the Bible, which is really one long love story from our Creator to us (and maybe, as suggested in the film, to the angels as well, who may also have been recipients of the Redemption Process.) Corporate and syndicate lingo is used liberally throughout, which really brings the Story--the Record--up to speed for our own lives today. Great job to all involved! Keep doing it!

I think that is a sin... But the letter on the Bible so much stronger on this sci fi.
I don't like this esthetics of steampunk but I enjoyed the approach of the storyline
