A likeable plot with twist, although some were eye rolling. I think all the actors did well in the portrayal of their respective characters. I mean I couldn't stand the love interest chosen for Lily to bequeath. Her virginity to. His character was a slimy weasel of the worst kind, and he did a great job in his characterization of Davey.

The one twist worked to the point that it took a minute to wonder why a certain event took place. So kudos for some good script writing and direction for a change. Too many of these films depend on the tried and true bland and predictable formats that do more towards the negative aspects of the movie, and do not inspire a positive experience.

So other than the awkward teen romance that was as predictable as it was gross as for the choice of available dudes for the fair young lady.

Excellent movie. "Fictional" story, that tackles topics all too real. The ironic part is how true the entire film is, in actuality. It's all real. There is greatness and unbelievable power within us all. The problem is that we can't hold onto our happy thoughts.

This movie is a proper movie. I found it by accident. Only clicked cause Keener. One does not find these movies, cause movie sites ignore that kind of interesting work. Wonderful piece. I am not gonna spoil it, just, the theme sounds heavy and I was afraid that I can not handle it. But while on-point, in so many ways, incredible accurate how rape has been portrait in here. I enjoyed this movie. It is a family character study about deeply troubled and mentally ill siblings, some of whom have dealt with childhood trauma. The shadow of mentall illness weights heavy as issues large. This movie actually understand mental illness and bipolar disorder and it shows mental illness in a realistic way. The human mind doesn´t fit psychiatric definitions and this movie brings out the complexity of troubeled lives.
